Police officials have revealed more information about the man in question.

His name is Dr Chimezie Osuigwe, a committed member of Guru Maharaji Sect.

In 2003, the 64-year-old man killed his 78-year-old mother and stored her corpse in a room he dedicated as a shrine for complete 10 years.

Dr Osuigwe who got busted by one of his children was arrested by police after the discovery of the embalmed body of his late mother in a cupboard at his house.
